Recently, EB-LINK completed the shipment of spare parts for a dual-channel power supply and link reconstruction project in a computer room in a high-tech park. The project arrives in two batches and is shipped according to the cutover window. The racks, transceivers, optical modules and protective accessories are packaged in separate boxes to avoid on-site shortage.

Order composition is divided by reliability links

Different from traditional classification by interface, this batch of spare parts are packaged according to protection and power supply links: centralized power supply and dual input related parts are14-slot box transceiver rackand supporting modules; the link side is mainlyGigabit single mode single fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverMainly with LC and SC finished jumpers; the outdoor introduction section is equipped with armored jumpers and entrance grounding accessories. The advantage of this division is that during cutover, materials are collected according to links, and there will be no shortage of a power supply or a jumper.

Principle of packaging: take out the distribution parts first and then the optical port parts

  • The first batch of racks and power supply-related components will be shipped out first, leaving construction time for power distribution transformation;
  • The second batch of light outlet parts are tested and recorded one by one according to the cutover schedule;
  • Spare parts are kept in the same warehouse in proportion to the agreed quantity in service and managed in a moisture-proof and anti-static manner.

What does Party A need to confirm in the box-packing checklist?

Each batch comes with a selection checklist, which clearly states the temperature and humidity range, power supply system, port protection instructions and grounding recommendations. It also lists the working condition items that need to be confirmed by Party A, such as whether the two power supplies come from different busbars, whether the cabinet is equipped with air conditioning, and how the outdoor introduction section is grounded. Similar to the batch rhythm of all-optical network transformation in the park, please refer toIntegrated wiring and all-optical network FTTH project for high-tech park office buildings.

At present, both batches of goods have been signed for, and the link cutover has been completed according to the scheduled window.
