Starting from this month, EB-LINK will have a separate reliability design consultation channel in addition to the original technical support. It is oriented to four common types of issues: lightning protection and surge, grounding and shielding, wide-temperature humidity and power supply architecture. Engineers with on-site experience will reply on a per-item basis.
Why put the consultation list into one channel?
The most common reason for rework in orders is not that the model is out of stock, but the lack of environmental information during the selection stage: whether the cabinet has air conditioning, how long the signal cable is, whether it crosses the building and across the potential, and whether the power supply is taken from a DC panel or AC mains. These questions used to be asked only in the after-sales process, often resulting in on-site waiting. After the single-row channel is installed, users can submit the working conditions first during the plan review stage, decide on the protection and power supply structure, and then discuss the specific model and delivery date.
Which items are usually checked for an order?
- Environmental side: temperature and humidity range, cabinet ventilation method, dustproof and waterproof requirements;
- Protection side: line intrusion path, protection device level configuration, shielding layer and grounding treatment method;
- Power supply side: power supply system and redundancy requirements, backup time target, centralized power supply or distributed power extraction;
- Link side: distance and loss budget, photoelectric demarcation location, spare parts and replacement ratio.
How to submit and what you can get
You can organize a list of call instructions by point category, and the engineer will reply with verification comments and alternative ideas. When terminal equipment is involved, differences in power extraction methods and port protection will also be prompted, such asGigabit single mode dual fiber one optical one electrical fiber optic transceiverSelection of models with isolation under different grounding conditions. The channel responds from 8:30 to 18:00 on working days. For emergency cutover issues, you can directly dial 0755-83179002. The consultation output is selection suggestions and checklists, which are used for internal project review and do not replace design documents.
