Recently, EB-LINK completed the customized coding and shipment of optical modules for an overseas operator's metropolitan area network expansion batch. This batch of 10G and Gigabit modules were all coded one by one according to the target switch brand, read back for verification, and tested one by one before being packaged and leaving the factory.
The difficulty of this batch of orders lies in the code type binning.
A mix of three brands of switches were used in the new construction and expansion parts of the project, and modules with the same appearance correspond to at least three code types. If the products are mixed and shipped according to models, they will have to be unpacked and sorted twice after arrival, which can easily lead to mis-sorting. This batch is coded and divided into boxes directly in the factory according to the port correspondence table provided by the customer. The outer box is marked with the target brand code type and the machine building number, and the goods are distributed according to the box and put on the shelves.
Individual verification records before shipment
- The code writing fields are read back one by one for verification, and the test records correspond to the batch numbers one-to-one;
- Test the transmitting and receiving optical power and DDM readings one by one, and keep a margin of more than 3dB against the customer's link budget;
- Sampling according to the pattern and plugging it into the target switch of the same model, confirm that the recognition is normal and there are no alarm lines in the log.
Customers get the certainty of no sorting
On-site construction has been compressed from sorting, testing, and labeling to direct shelving, and the port correspondence table has also become the first-hand information for subsequent operation and maintenance. The customer's previous bulk delivery experience came fromSoutheast Asian operator 10G optical module and ODF batch delivery project, this time the coding and binning process will be further refined to the machine building dimension. Commonly used modules of mainstream brand codes are kept in stock, and subsequent replenishments will be sent directly according to the same code type without waiting for production.
Multi-brand hybrid networking and overseas batch coding requirements can be implemented according to this mode. You can send the port corresponding table to sale01@eb-link.com.cn, or call 0755-83179002 to obtain schedule and quotation.
